Our Favourites

Here we have grouped our favourite products in collections to indulge you.

Greetings from the Kernow Soap Workshop!

Five years on from those first tentative batches in the tiniest kitchen in St Columb Major, Kernow Soap has grown into something far more meaningful than I ever imagined. What began as a creative outlet during a time of upheaval has become a small but steady Cornish business with its own rhythm, heart, and community.

Today, while I work full time in teaching — a career I still value deeply — Kernow Soap has continued to flourish thanks to all the little moments carved out around family life, weekends, and the calm, creative pockets of time where making soap still feels like a true joy. With Huw handling the business side and Ellie steering social media with her steady hand, I get to stay connected to the part I love most: the making itself.

And thanks to the incredible support from customers, stockists, and our growing online community, Kernow Soap is now stocked in 16 beautiful stores across Cornwall, with an expanding website and a future that feels wide open.

Which brings me to the very best kind of news…

Kernow Soap officially has a new home.

A dedicated workspace.
Room to grow.
Room to create.

We are thrilled to announce our new premises in Blisland, right on the edge of Bodmin Moor.

It already feels like a place full of possibility — peaceful, spacious, and so much more fitting for the next phase of this adventure. There is something truly grounding about crafting soap in a landscape shaped by moorland air, big skies, and the quiet beauty of North Cornwall.

I’ll share a proper tour of the new space later this week, along with the first batches poured there. For now, thank you — sincerely — for being part of this journey from that tiny kitchen to Bodmin Moor. Your support has shaped every step.

Here’s to the next chapter,
and to many more hand‑poured, palm‑free bars from Kernow Soap.

Kernow Soap is the best. Made with nature and love. My son will only wash his face with the oatmeal soap. We love all of the soaps though - my other son uses the camomile and lavender to sooth his eczema. Wetsuit balm is great too.

Beautiful soaps. Bought a few for xmas presents and were all loved and raved about by recipitents. Also bought the calendula for my daughter who suffers with her sensitive skin and it has been amazing on her hands. The help and customer service was top quality too, definitely purchasing more.

Fantastic soaps and hand made too. I was lucky enough to win a tester box and am just on my last bar so looking forward to the new website to order some more. Compared to other products I have seen for sale also very well priced for individual hand made soap.
