Base Ingredients
Our ingredients are chosen for their finest quality. Our own base recipe has been carefully formulated using a selection of our favourite oil.
Olive Oil
We use olive pomace oil due to its saponification value. Pomace oil is a common ingredient in hand made soap creating a hard, long-lasting bar which helps retain moisture whilst allowing the skin to breathe. A mild oil and great choice for people with dry or sensitive skin.
Coconut Oil
Coconut oil contributes to the hardness of our soap whilst producing a rich, bubbly lather. Coconut oil has highly effective cleansing properties whilst helping to retain moisture.
Castor Bean Oil
Extracted from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant native to tropical areas of Asia and Africa. A natural humectant castor oil attracts moisture to the skin whilst boosting and extending lather time.
Rice Bran Oil
Extracted from the bran of the rice kernel rice bran oil is a rich source of vitamin E and natural antioxidant to nourish the skin. An excellent moisturiser which is easily absorbed by the skin.
Shea Butter
Luxurious and moisturising Shea Butter adds additional hardness to our soap.
Kaolin Clay
Sourced directly from Cornwall kaolin clay adds a creamy, silk like effect to soap whilst helping to anchor our 100% essential oil.
